Logging in to your Discover credit card account online takes just a few moments. You can check your balance, review recent transactions, make payments, and manage alerts from the secure discover.com website.
Always verify the URL in your browser shows https://www.discover.com before entering your credentials. If the address looks different, close the tab and type discover.com manually.

Open the official website

In your browser, go to https://www.discover.com. Look for the Discover logo and the secure lock icon in your browser address bar.

Open the login form

Click the Log In link near the top of the page. A login form should appear asking for your account credentials.

Select your account type

Choose Credit Card from the account type dropdown. The exact label may vary slightly, so select the option that matches your card account.

Enter your User ID

Type the User ID you created when you registered. If your device is private, you can check Remember User ID so you do not have to type it next time.

Enter your password

Type your password carefully. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure Caps Lock is off.

Click Log In

Click the Log In button. If prompted, complete any additional security check, such as answering a security question or entering a one-time code sent to your phone or email.
Checking Remember User ID is convenient on a personal computer, but avoid it on shared or public devices. For extra safety, always log out when you are finished.

What to do if you get stuck

  • If you forgot your User ID or password, click Forgot User ID/Password? on the login form or visit Forgot User ID or Password and Reset Your Password.
  • If the page will not load, try a supported browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) and clear your cache.
  • If your account is locked after too many attempts, see Account Locked.
Discover will never ask for your password or a one-time code by unsolicited phone call, text, or email. If someone asks for these, hang up or delete the message and call the number on the back of your card.
