The Discover mobile app lets you check your balance, view transactions, make payments, and manage alerts from your phone or tablet. You can also enable biometric sign-in, such as Face ID or fingerprint, so you do not have to type your password every time.

**iPhone**

**1. Download the app**

Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Search for **Discover Mobile** and look for the official Discover app. Tap **Get** or **Download** to install it.

**2. Open the app**

Launch the Discover app from your home screen. You should see a login screen asking for your User ID and password.

**3. Sign in**

Enter your Discover User ID and password, then tap the sign-in button. If you have not registered for online access yet, see [Register Your Online Account](/getting-started/register-online-account) first.

**4. Enable Face ID or Touch ID**

If prompted, allow the app to use Face ID or Touch ID. You can also turn this on later in the app settings. Once enabled, you can log in quickly with a glance or a fingerprint on future visits.

> [!TIP]
>
> Make sure your iPhone is running a recent version of iOS so the app works smoothly and securely.

**Android**

**1. Download the app**

Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone or tablet. Search for **Discover Mobile** and confirm it is the official app by Discover. Tap **Install** to download it.

**2. Open the app**

Open the Discover app from your app drawer or home screen. The login screen will ask for your User ID and password.

**3. Sign in**

Type your Discover User ID and password, then tap the sign-in button. If you need to register first, follow the steps in [Register Your Online Account](/getting-started/register-online-account).

**4. Enable fingerprint sign-in**

If your device supports fingerprint or face unlock, the app may ask if you want to use it for quick sign-in. Accept the prompt, or turn it on later in the app settings. This lets you skip typing your password on future logins.
