Once you are logged in to your Discover online account or the official mobile app, you have a full set of self-service tools to manage your card, monitor spending, and stay organized. The exact labels and layout may vary, but most cardholders will find the features below in the main menu or dashboard.

## Everyday account tasks

> **View statements**
>
> Access current and past billing statements in PDF format. You can download, print, or search transactions by date or amount.

> **Pay your bill**
>
> Make a one-time payment or schedule future payments from a linked bank account. You can also view payment history and confirm pending payments.

> **Set up alerts**
>
> Choose email or text alerts for payment due dates, large purchases, available credit updates, and more. Alerts help you avoid missed payments and catch unusual activity early.

> **Enable autopay**
>
> Set automatic payments so you never miss a due date. You can usually choose to pay the minimum, a fixed amount, or the full statement balance each month.

> **Go paperless**
>
> Opt out of paper statements and receive email notifications when new statements are ready. This reduces mail clutter and helps keep records in one place.

> **Lock or freeze your card**
>
> Many issuers offer a quick card lock or freeze feature. If you misplace your card, you can temporarily block new purchases while you look for it. Unlocking is usually instant when you are ready.

## Keep your profile current

After logging in, look for a **Profile** or **Account Settings** section. There you can typically:

* Update your mailing address, phone number, and email
* Add or remove authorized users
* Manage linked bank accounts for payments
* Review and change security settings, including your password and two-step verification preferences

> [!TIP]
>
> If you recently moved or changed your phone number, update your contact information right away. Accurate details help Discover reach you quickly if they detect suspicious activity.
